Patient rights, privacy, and practice policies.

These policies help you understand how we care for your information and how we care for every person who walks through our door.

Website Accessibility

Phillips Chiropractic strives to maintain accessibility for all users, including those with disabilities. To ensure that our website is accessible to everyone, we have installed the UserWay Website Accessibility Widget, which provides a range of accessibility tools and options to improve navigation and readability.

To use the UserWay Accessibility Widget, click on the blue and white accessibility icon that appears in the corner of your screen. This will open a toolbar that allows you to adjust settings such as font size, contrast, and color scheme. You can also use the widget to enable screen reader support and keyboard navigation, as well as translate the website into different languages.

Please note that while we make every effort to maintain accessibility, our website may occasionally encounter compatibility issues with assistive technologies or outdated web browsers. If you encounter any difficulty accessing our website or have suggestions for improving accessibility, please contact us. We welcome your feedback and are committed to making our website as accessible as possible for all users.

Our website also strives to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, which provide recommendations for making web content more accessible for people with disabilities. While it is not always possible to meet all of the WCAG guidelines, we are continually working to improve accessibility on our website. If you have any questions or concerns about accessibility, please contact us.

Good Faith Estimate

Last updated: 03/01/2023

As a patient at Phillips Chiropractic, you are entitled to receive a written estimate of your medical expenses, known as a "Good Faith Estimate," prior to receiving non-emergency medical items or services. This applies to individuals without insurance or those not using insurance. The estimate should include the total expected cost of services, as well as any related expenses like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

It is important to request a written Good Faith Estimate from your healthcare provider at least one business day before your scheduled service or item. You may also request estimates from other providers you may choose to work with.

If your bill ends up being at least $400 higher than your original estimate, you have the right to dispute it. Be sure to save a copy of your estimate for future reference.

For more information on your rights to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding your medical bill or Good Faith Estimate, please contact us. Our team is here to assist you and ensure that you receive fair and transparent healthcare pricing.
